Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Sesaku App (located at sesaku-app.chitchartsolutions.com) and its associated websites ("Service"), operated by ChitChart Solutions, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Sesaku App is a receipt management tool that parses your uploaded receipts and organizes them into your personal Google Drive.

3. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old if residing in the EEA) to use this Service. By using Sesaku App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

This application is designed and intended primarily for users located in Malaysia. While you may access the Service from outside Malaysia, you may not experience the full benefit or functionality of the Service. By accessing the Service from outside Malaysia, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

4. Accounts and Security

To use the Service, you must authenticate using your Google Account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload illegal, fraudulent, or malicious content.
  • Violate any intellectual property rights or the privacy of others.
  • Attempt to bypass any security measures, rate limits, or quotas we may implement.
  • Reverse engineer or disrupt the operation of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these rules.

6. Your Content

When you upload receipts ("Your Content") to Sesaku App:

  • You retain full ownership of Your Content.
  • You grant us a limited, request-scoped license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of extracting data and uploading it to your Google Drive.
  • We do not store Your Content on our servers after the request completes.
  • We do not use Your Content to train Smart Autofill models.

7. Generated Output and Google Drive Storage

Sesaku App extracts data from your receipts and creates files/folders in your Google Drive.

  • You own the extracted data and generated files.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the files uploaded to your Google Drive comply with Google's Terms of Service.

8. Smart Autofill Disclaimer

Sesaku App uses probabilistic Smart Autofill models to extract text and data from your receipts.

  • The extraction process may contain inaccuracies or hallucinated text.
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the extracted data before relying on it for accounting, tax, or legal purposes.
  • Sesaku App is a convenience tool, not a certified accounting service. We are not liable for financial discrepancies resulting from Smart Autofill extraction errors.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies heavily on Google Drive API. Your use of the Service is also governed by Google's Terms of Service. Furthermore, we may use third-party Smart Autofill providers (e.g., OpenAI) to parse receipts. Your data is subject to their respective terms during the processing phase.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. CHITCHART SOLUTIONS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT THE SMART AUTOREFILL-EXTRACTED DATA WILL BE 100% ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChitChart Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
